Pioneer Status / Investment Tax Allowance

MIDA

Core manufacturing and promoted-activity incentive: partial exemption of statutory income or an allowance on qualifying capital expenditure.

Benefits

  • 70–100% exemption of statutory income for 5–10 years (Pioneer Status)
  • Or 60–100% allowance on qualifying capex (ITA)
  • Applies to promoted products and activities lists

Key requirements

  • Activity appears on the MIDA promoted list
  • Meaningful capital investment and local value-add
  • Manufacturing licence where applicable

Principal Hub Incentive

MIDA
